Position Description
Business Analyst needed to support our HRSD Process Improvement Project with USSS in Washington, DC. Will be working a great scrum and will be a pioneer within the agency. Will help improve business processes and make a difference. This person will be part of a small team, augmenting and fully integrated with government developers and Business Analysts.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Ability to work autonomously, independently and under tight deadlines.
• Work to understand the business and technical requirements and objectives relative to the desired functionality of products and applications.
• Work independently through all necessary testing and provide review of developed functionality.
• Willing to work daily in Washington, DC (once we are post-COVID, of course, and there is a sufficient re-integration plan).
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain USSS EOD clearance.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand functional/technical specifications.
• Agile or Scrum experience preferred, interest and understanding of the basics is required, as all work streams conduct sprint planning, backlog refinement and goal-setting ceremonies each month.
