IBM ODM Developer

Position Description
CGI is hiring multiple IBM ODM Developers for immediate starts for an exciting new Retail Banking Modernization Project in Pittsburgh PA.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Review architectures; recommend options and deliver POC’s.
• Provide coding, testing and implementation in ODM.
• Establishing methodology for capturing business rule, event processing requirements and agreeing with business users.
• Responsible for sound and high quality technical deliverables.
• Analyze and estimate the amount of work for every sprint or release.
• Work in an Agile environment and adapt to the changing needs and requirements of the business.
• Produce high quality code; following and recommending best practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
General:
• Good communication skills. Team Oriented and can work independently.

Must Have Technical Skills
• Minimum 5+ years of rule development experience with IBM ODM.
• Technical expertise in Design and Development of - Decision Table, Decision Tree, Action Rule (BRL), Technical Rule, Rule Flows, BOM and XOM, Functions, Rule Task in in ODM.
• Experience in setting up and customizing Business Object Model (BOM) and vocabulary for rule authoring
• Create, follow, and share enterprise guidelines and standards
• Understand requirements, rules list, and decision trees, to support rules/decisions and business insights development
• Strong Documentation skills
• Develop Process flow diagrams
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams in an Agile environment.
• Experience with test driven development with JUnit.
• Experience in a continuous integration environment.
• Experience in Financial industry is plus.

Education:
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
