IBM FTM Digital Payments Solution Architect
Position Description
We have an immediate need to hire an IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) Digital Payments Solution Architect to join our Banking group in Pittsburgh, PA.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Leverage technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
• Assists with designing and configuring solutions using IBM Financial Transaction Manager
• Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects;
• Provide consultation on common issues and best practices for junior staff.
• Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
• Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes.
• Guide the team with payment products such as bill pay, wires, ACH transfers, real-time payments (RTP), and Zelle
• Provide solutions to the new payment initiatives in the bank in IBM FTM for Digital payments product
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Minimum 6+ years of experience as an expert in IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) product
• Experience working on large BI projects/programs
• 6+ Years of experience in other IBM products such as IIB, WTX and MQ.
• Experience in Payment Processing Systems in large banks
• Payments messaging standards such as NACHA, ISO 20022, SWIFT
• SOA design principles
• Modeling using RSA
• WTX mappings is a good to have skill.
• Mapping for the different types of Payment standards
• Application development on WebSphere Message Broker or a similar ESB
• IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender
• Experience as a Software Engineer/Systems Integrator working on Java/JEE application development and web services development
• WEB API management
• Developing Restful web services
• Skillful and thorough understanding of IT concepts including software/application design and development, database concepts & structures, and testing techniques
• Experience with large complex systems, influencing technology solutions that align with the goals and objectives of business within the bank
• Experience with the Agile Methodology.
Tech Stack:
• FTM: 6+ years
• IIB: 6+ years
• JAVA: 5+ years
Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
