Job description

Position Description:

Strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and design.
Expertise in Compute Engine, GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), Cloud Run, App Engine, and Cloud Functions.
Proficiency in Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
Strong understanding of VPC networking, load balancing, peering, VPN, and interconnect configurations.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
Proficient in CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Strong knowledge of IAM, Service Accounts, Organization Policies, and VPC Service Controls.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools – Cloud Operations Suite (Stackdriver), Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Trace.
Deep understanding of security best practices, encryption (CMEK, KMS), and compliance frameworks (CIS, ISO, SOC2).
Knowledge of cost optimization (FinOps), resource right-sizing, and billing governance.
Experience in application and data migration from on-premises or other clouds to GCP.
Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong background in Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Familiarity with DevOps and SRE practices for automation, scalability, and reliability.
Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
Strong communication, client engagement, and solution presentation abilities.
