Finance Specialist (Service Consultant) 
Job Description
 

. Reconcile bank transactions in accordance with the Service Level Agreement.
. Daily billing and payments processing
. Resolve billing and payment issues
. Implement credit policies in accordance with the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC)
. Administer letters of credit and cash credit cover
. Prepare and manage Performance Assurance Reporting and Monitoring System (PARMS) reports and contacts
. ServiceNow queries and service requests
. Coordinate with ELEXON FAA onshore team in UK, and directly with the external client and different BSC trading participants for any queries and other related activities.

 
Background and Essential Skills
 

. Must be a BS Accountancy degree
. At least a Service Consultant in CGI for 6 months with minimum 2-3 years of work experience
. Financial exposure, particularly in a billing and credit control environment
. Basic Collection and Reconciliation background
. Experience with Unit4 system and ServiceNow will be considered a strong advantage
. Relevant experience in working with foreign subsidiaries and in foreign countries (specifically UK)
. Excellent communication skills in oral and written English and have experience facilitating client calls and meetings
. Must have advanced knowledge in MS Excel
. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and utmost attention to detail
. Action-oriented and has the ability to assume ownership of requests/issues/escalations and deliver effective resolutions to customers
. Customer-oriented (know your customers well; add value with a level of urgency)
. Team player, resourceful, flexible and can work well under pressure
. Fast-learner and has excellent multi-tasking skills
. Must have proven record of making process improvements
. Can manage shared mailbox effectively
. Proficiency to follow and write process documentation
. Understanding of UK energy trading and settlement principles is an advantage
. Willingness to work on shifting assignments (mid-shift)
