We are seeking a dynamic Desktop Support Technician to join our IT Operations team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, be well mannered, and should be able to work well both independently and in teams to solve challenging IT support issues.
This position is located in Farifax, VA onsite 5 days a week 40 hrs.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Provide phone, e-mail, and in-person support to end-users for various IT operational issues, including e-mail, printers, LAN/WAN, laptop hardware/software troubleshooting and repair, image and deploy computers to new hires and existing partners/subcontractors, ensuring that work is tracked and updated in our IT Service Management ticketing system.
Additional responsibilities will include vulnerability remediation, using tools such as Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Purview.

Minimum of two to four years of enterprise experience in commercial or government environment
Must be familiar with using and managing Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive for Business, Active Directory, MECM, and Trellix ePO console.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as a keen understanding of how to manage expectations of end users.
Must have the ability to work well in a team, and to operate independently without supervision.
Must have the ability to lift 30 pounds.
Must have a high school diploma/GED.
Service Now incident management preferred
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Certified Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (Microsoft Exam MD-102) is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Defender, Intune, Purview, and Autopilot is preferred.
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $58,000.00 - $136,200.00.
