Position Description:
We are seeking an AWS Service Delivery Manager to join our team in Sacramento, CA to be part of a large Infrastructure Services Solution project!

If you are an experienced AWS Service Delivery Manager who operates independently, understands AWS cloud and related infrastructure technologies, and have a keen interest in leading the implementation and support of critical cloud infrastructure for large projects then please consider applying as this may be the role for you.
This position is located in our Sacramento, CA office with work performed at the client site in Sacramento, CA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable (within the Greater Sacramento area). You will be required to be at the client site 3 to 4 days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
How you'll make an impact
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Plan and implement cloud computing strategies and solutions, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
• Build and manage the configuration of Production and non-production environments in the cloud ecosystem
• Monitor, scale, and optimize cloud resources, including computing power, database storage, and content delivery Services, to meet growing business needs
• Prepare estimates and budgets for cloud Services
• Prepare and maintain account and service classification level forecasts and budgets for cloud expenditures
• Prepare estimates for change requests and releases, incorporating them into forecasts and budgets
• Implement and maintain cost performance metrics, reports, and associated resource tagging
• Monitor cloud Services, security and networks to maintain high availability and responsiveness
• Provide overall leadership and engineering expertise related to development, implementation, and management of the cloud infrastructure to support 24/7 operations
• Support the root cause analysis of performance issues, connectivity issues, unplanned downtime, and security breaches
• Serve as internal and external escalation point for day-to-day cloud operations issues
• Share off-hours on-call Incident Manager responsibilities and coordinate Major Incident Management activities both on and off-hours
• As needed, supports Project Management (e.g. schedule updates and reviews) and Risks and Issue Management activities for Operations
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
What you'll bring
• 8 years of Cloud Engineering including Solutions Architecture
Mandatory Qualifications – Candidates must have the following:
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing and maintaining cloud-computing on a large complex information technology (IT) system
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience as an AWS Solutions Architect
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in application integration within an AWS cloud hosted application
• Experience in migrating at least one (1) Web application(s) (e.g., Oracle) from an on-premises environment to the AWS cloud
• Ability to hold and maintain a cloud specific certification that includes secure cloud architecture concepts, such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS solutions architect, or AWS security specialization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to listening actively and communicate complex technical information to less technical staff
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
• Ability to understand & analyze an issue or problem to develop & implement a corrective action plan
• Experience working in an outsourced/managed services environment with some client-facing responsibilities (e.g. technical discussions with the client)
• Experience managing teams responsible for system administration, middleware, and database operations
• Experience support fast-paced development environments utilizing Agile, SDLC and/or other systems development methodologies
• Familiarity working with Public Sector clients (Social Services)
