Experienced Process Engineer (F/M)

Job description

Axens Project Operations Business Division (POP) mission is to provide advanced technologies, basic engineering design, modular units design and technical services to its customers.

Main missions :

In the Process Department we work on basic engineering projects and detail engineering / EPC modular units projects development for our customers and also on new technologies development.

Your mission will be to contribute to or supervise the design of process units on international projects.

In this role:

• You perform complex design tasks in autonomy,
• You train and coach junior Process engineers,
• You check other Process engineer's work,
• You coordinate the activities with other departments (Technology, Drafting, Engineering, Project…),
• You ensure a good relationship with customers,
• You participate in new technologies and new market development,
• You are a key contributor to continuously improve units designs.

Depending on opportunities, you are also directly in charge or provide support to Unit Leader for following tasks:

· You manage the Process team work on license or module projects,

· You manage the process project execution (schedule, workload, cost control…),

Occasional travels for international technical meetings and seminars motivate you.

Frequent travels to the head quarter office (Rueil-Malmaison) are expected.

Desired profile

Knowledge and Required Level :

You have a Degree in chemical engineering (Master of sciences or equivalent), and at least 4 years of experience within an engineering company / or within the refining, petrochemical or gas industry / or within chemical or biochemical industries.

You are experienced in Process basic and/or detail engineering tasks & have experiences related to leading activities such as:

• Process Modeling using chemical engineering softwares (Pro II, Hysys, etc),
• Equipment specification (pumps, compressors, drums, etc).
• Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID),
• Process control and Safety,
• Contribution to young engineers' skills development
• Customers relationship
• If possible, coordination of some activities with different parties, or engineers

Fluent in English, another language(s) is appreciated.
