Job Purpose
The Mains objective of the investment specialist team is to represent investment teams in client-facing activities, develop and promote investment products, and provide high-quality client service. For this role there is a high focus on Green, Social and Sustainability bond strategies.
Key roles and responsibilities
Business development
- Gather, structure and create engaging content on the firm, strategies, processes, markets and investments, for the purpose of presenting to clients and prospects (using Tableau, Excel, PPT and Bloomberg)
- Work with the Portfolio Managers, Sales and RFP teams to structure high-quality answers to prospect requests
- Design, structure and update content and key messages for product materials
Develop our fixed income offering for clients
- Attend regular investment meetings to become an expert in the strategies
- Develop investment knowledge to be a central point of reference on the strategies
Responsible Investment expertise
- Undertake detailed fund analysis on Responsible Investment topics for our clients
- Create engaging content based on key Sustainability themes for clients and prospects
A high quality of client service
- Deliver quality responses to all types of client or prospect queries
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Candidate Profile
Education/Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
· Any other qualifications related to the Asset Management industry would be a plus.
Experience
· A strong understanding of investment concepts and strategies, particularly in Fixed Income and/or Responsible investment
Knowledge and Skills
· Tableau and/or VBA/Python skills are required
· Fixed Income market and strategy knowledge
· Responsible Investment knowledge, with a focus on Green, Social and Sustainability bonds (nice to have)
· Perfect command of French and English (written and verbal).
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, is required.
