The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. Within the Group, you will join the Group Chief Underwriting Office as a Health individual pricing intern.
The newly created Global Chief Underwriting Office is accountable for establishing, enabling, and driving profit and growth through Product Underwriting Strategy, Portfolio Design and Technical Underwriting Excellence in partnership with the AXA Entities, for both Commercial and Retail, through:
- Portfolio Design Steering
- Underwriting Product Strategy and Profitability Measurement
- Technical Underwriting Guidance
- Pricing Models, Platforms and Analytics
Within this Department, you will be part of the LS&H Pricing Team and more specifically the Retail Health Pricing Team. The team ensures Market Leading Technical Pricing in Health Products.
Your job and daily missions:
- Support the design of the pricing excellence pathway by creating technical documentation on Health pricing technics
- Participate to pricing optimization projects supporting AXA entities (international scope) with their ongoing initiatives
- Support portfolio management by improving the technical monitoring of individual health pricing products
- Contribute to (i) the Health pricing community animation and to (i) the SharePoint site design
Additionally, you could be fully involved in other topics addressed by the team as needed.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Let’s talk about you :
· Currently in first year of a master’s degree in an actuarial or data science field (ENSAE, ISFA, ISUP, EURIA, Dauphine …)
· Mastery of Excel and VBA
· Proven knowledge of traditional data processing and analysis tools: Python, R, SQL, PowerBI
· Capacity to adapt to a new programing language or a new modelling tool (e.g. Akur8)
· Curiosity, team spirit, initiative, and analytical skills,
· Interest in problem-solving and the definition of mathematical models. Solid knowledge in mathematics and data science
· Enjoy working in a team within an international and multicultural environment.
· Strong presentation and communication skills
· French and English fluency (written & spoken)
