What you'll do
As the C3 Social Media Associate within the Digital Marketing division at Sainsbury's, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Social Media Lead to manage Argos' organic social media channels. Your responsibilities will include organising, editing, and scheduling engaging content across various social platforms, creating reactive lo-fi social-first content using CapCut, Canva and Adobe Premier Pro, writing captivating captions, collaborating with the in-house agency for content creation, attending shoots to provide support, performing community engagement across our all channels and trending posts, and utilising social media management tools to maintain the brand's social presence. Your deep understanding of social media, proficiency in content creation and editing tools, as well as your ability to spot trends and create engaging content, will be crucial in driving the success of Argos' social media strategy.
Who you are
As a Social Media Associate for Sainsbury's Digital Marketing team, you are a creative and strategic individual with a deep passion for social media and a proven track record in creating engaging content across various platforms. You love social and are always up to date with the latest trends, you’re well-versed across different platforms with experience creating content for different channels. With your expertise in content creation, editing, and management, along with your ability to spot trends and respond with innovative content, you play a key role in managing and maintaining the brand's social presence. Your strong project management skills, stakeholder management abilities, and experience working with digital media agencies enable you to drive successful social media campaigns and initiatives that align with the brand's strategy and customer plan.
