The Change Support Manager will be critical in effectively landing a variety of initiatives that integrate, automate, and optimise processes and systems across the Supply Chain & Logistics Division driving efficiency and a world class customer experience to support our ambitious targets. Here you will work in a matrix environment reporting to the Senior Change Manager, and alongside a multi-disciplinary team including Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Learning & Development, and a broad spectrum of other functions including but not limited to Sainsbury’s Tech and our Commercial teams.
What you need to do
- Support the Senior Change Manager and Head of Change in delivering the plan, including activities associated with stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, and the creation of communication materials.
- Can take ownership of your work, and support the rollout of new business processes and/or technology.
- Produce high-quality documents, including presentations, training materials, and written communications.
- Facilitate workshops with impacted stakeholders, including training sessions.
- Be a self-starter, with the ability to engage and motivate Team & internal/external stakeholders
- Develop strong business partnerships with other internal departments.
- Be able to influence at all levels and be credible in engaging stakeholders in project scope and deliverables.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the processes and systems utilised across the whole Supply Chain function as well as our strategy and business priorities.
- Ensure support of sharing of knowledge across the whole team to feed into succession plans and limit single points of failure.
What you need to know
- 2 – 4 years of experience in specific Change and / or project roles, or Management Consulting.
- Awareness of Change Management and how it supports delivering projects.
- Ability to prepare/deliver succinct and engaging presentations, as well as robust business cases.
- Problem solving capability.
- Excellent facilitation skills.
- Awareness of project management best practices including Agile is essential for this role
Desirable
· Knowledge & understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain & Logistics process in a retail environment.
