Key responsibilities/What you do
Within the Global Operations (COO) function, the department Operations Steering & Controlling is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the financial and performance management processes of the Operations.
This involves strategic financial planning, budgeting and analysis to support effective decision-making and global Operations performance.
The unit contributes to the organization’s overall success by ensuring financial health, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and providing valuable insights to support the achievement of strategic goals.
Its scope is global COO across +50 business units and all Lines of Business (LoB) with approx. 17,000 FTE.
As a Working Student / Intern in the Global Operations (COO) team, you will help support the Operations Steering & Controlling department with various projects and management tasks.
Your main focus will be assisting senior management in preparing reports, presentations, and handling requests related to operations performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting management requests by gathering information, creating presentations, and organizing data for senior leadership.
• Supporting the reporting, planning, and forecasting of Operations costs and productivity across different business units.
• Assisting with project management tasks, including organizing meetings, tracking progress on initiatives, and supporting communication across teams.
• Contributing to regular reporting and updates, ensuring smooth communication between global, regional, and local teams.
• Collaborating with various departments on ad hoc tasks and strategic initiatives.
Key requirements/What you bring
We’re looking for someone with strong organizational and communication skills who is excited to learn more about project management in a global organization.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• An interest in project management and working on presentations.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a multicultural environment with different stakeholders.
• Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
