This position is for the ORGS Operations Support running on windows servers along with new opportunities coming in under the same service vertical.
Job Summary
Core Job Objectives:
· Providing OpenPages Application Support & Administration for Operational Risk Management Application
· Providing Cognos Support & Administration for Operational Risk Management Application
· Act as a single point of contact for all Windows based Risk Management Applications requests (Level 2* requests)
· Liaise closely with level 3 support and service management in Munich
· Monitor and manage smooth execution of Operational Risk Management Application
(Provide Level 2 Support to users/customers)
· Resolving all service requests, incidents and problems (Level 2) related to OpenPages and Cognos in time with expected quality
· Manages configuration, installation and administration of Operational Risk Management Application
· Documenting all issues in the ticketing tool, knowledge transfer sessions and issue resolution approaches
* Level 2 resolves service disruptions as soon as possible without asking for support from software or hardware vendor. If level 2 is unable to resolve certain incidents, level 2 can hand them over to level 3.
Major Responsibilities
· Troubleshooting and provide resolutions to issues and problems raised for OpenPages and Cognos Support
· Troubleshooting and provide resolutions to issues raised for performance of applications
· Responsible for supporting the following activities in OpenPages Operations on windows servers:
· Support maintenance and improvement of OpenPages application architecture
· Provide User management and Group Management
· Security (Security Endpoints, Roles, Security Rules)
· Generic Object model
· Field Groups
· Field configuration (object level, profile level)
· Profile configuration (fields, views, filters, …)
· Registry, application settings, application strings
· OPX Interface
· Trigger.xml configuration
· Tools: Objectmanager, Entity Rename, Fastmap
· Log file analysis
· Responsible for supporting the following activities in Cognos Operations:
· Cognos Configuration
· OpenPages Report Framework
· OpenPages Report Schema
· Event studio
· Report scheduling / notifications
· Log file analysis
· Perform backup / restore tests, perform smoke tests
· Schedule maintenance windows, cleanup and perform housekeeping Servers (logfiles, moving paging files, …)
· Monitor the server logging and server performance
· Responsible for all GIAM related requests/issues on follow up with respective teams.
Educational & Professional Qualifications
B Tech/BE/B Sc Comp Science/ M Sc Computer Science
Experience
· At least 2-4 yrs. In Windows Operations Support & Administration.
· Experience in OpenPages, Cognos Support & Administration for OpenPages would be an added advantage
· Experienced in working with global delivery model for international clients
· Basic knowledge on Actie Directory system
· Skilled in Windows and MS SQL Server administration
· Skilled in DB2 and SQL
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Mandatory working knowledge in the following
· Infrastructure, network & firewalls, database, webserver, xml, monitoring, security (SSL)
· Windows Administration
· Advanced OpenPages or Cognos Knowhow
· Basic Windows Server, MS SQL Server
· Office Excel
· Basic Oracle Client and DB2 knowledge
· PowerShell script knowledge would added an advantage
Functional/Domain Knowledge (If required)
