Job description
Based in Antwerp (with flexibility for homeworking) and working in the Financial Lines/Cyber team for the Benelux region, you will actively contribute to dealing with existing clients & look for new opportunities.

The Impact You Will Have
You will drive profitable growth in Financial Lines and Cyber, with a focus on Cyber & Professional Indemnity, through expert underwriting, precise risk assessment, and effective use of global pricing tools. By negotiating competitive terms, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining disciplined file and credit control processes, you will protect portfolio quality while meeting financial targets. Your ownership of key accounts and proactive relationship-building with producers, clients, and market management will strengthen market position. Active participation in regional strategy and cross-regional initiatives will enhance underwriting excellence, foster collaboration, and support sustainable business growth across the Financial Lines portfolio
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Underwrite profitable new & renewal business to meet the Financial Lines & Cyber top & bottom-line plan targets in accordance with the underwriting guidelines, underwriting authority & compliance requirements. The focus will be on Professional Indemnity and Cyber
Build up your files through financial analysis, risk assessment & the global pricing tools.
Negotiate price, terms & conditions
Ensure accurate policy documentation
File maintenance
Proactively support completion of policy administration & credit control processes.
Ownership of key accounts & clients
Develop & maintain strong relationships with producers & clients in partnership with Market Management
Participate in the development and execution of regional Underwriting strategy for Financial Lines
Participate in cross regional activities as required / requested
What You’ll Bring to the Role
Bachelor’s or master’s degree – preferable degree in Economics, Law or other appropriate discipline
Ideally proficient in Dutch, French and English.
Proficient in MS Office applications
Communication & Presentation – Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally.
Ability to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story
Analytical Skills – ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources in details
Having relevant experience in the Financial Lines/Financial Institutions industry and/or in the Benelux is a plus.
