In this role, you will be responsible to work with the team heads and other team members. This role will have a strong cross-functional exposure, and he/she will work closely with Sales and Marketing & RFP teams, Portfolio Management, Product Development, Communication and other parts of Allianz Global Investors.

What you will do

• Point person for sustainability-related requests from Sales, Products, Investments, RFP team, Communications and Marketing
• Sustainability expert & ambassador on-the-ground to engage externally with clients, regulators, industry bodies, NGOs & media
• Development & maintenance of sustainability-related materials, contents & language
• Sustainability market research and staying on top of regional developments, serving as a key source of sustainability insights from an Asia perspective
• Strategic sustainable product planning across public and private market funds
• Support active promotion of sustainability throughout the company through delivering trainings
• Support sales on sustainability topics and support pitch preparation
• Speak at client meetings & conferences on sustainability topics

What you bring 

• University degree in Finance or related field of study
• Several years of relevant experience in sustainable investing, proven knowledge of industry practices and ESG trends
• Experience in a similar, client-facing role
• Solid knowledge and understanding of ESG products and competitor landscape
• CFA Sustainable Investing Certificate, CESGA or similar certificates are a plus
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communications, writing and presentation skills
• Shown project management and relationship management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• High proficiency in English and Mandarin, written and spoken, other languages are a plus
• Outstanding skills in Microsoft Power Point and Excel
• Outstanding skills in organization, prioritization and time management
• AI skills: Data reporting/ ChatGPT/ Microsoft CoPilot
