About the Job 

 

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Controlling Expert to join our regional controlling department. You will play a pivotal role in financial planning, managing budgets, analyzing company performance and are in close alignment with different stakeholders.

What you do

 

  • Take charge of the budgeting process, from development through monitoring and controlling ensuring alignment with our financial goals and company objectives.
  • Craft and communicate transparent and accurate financial reports & insights in a way that even non-finance colleagues can understand and appreciate.
  • Join forces with other teams to foster transparency and enable others to make informed and data driven decisions.
  •  Ensure compliance with legal & company standards and safeguard our company to mitigate financials risks.
  •  Shape and improve our controlling processes and tools to boost productivity, simplicity and transparency.
  •  Perform in depth analysis to unearth insights and help other teams understand the why behind the what.
  •  Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing process including reconciliations and insightful commenting highlighting the underlying trends driving the numbers.

 

What you bring

 

  • Bachelor's degree or similar educational foundation in finance, economics, accounting or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a finance-related role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills:  you can talk finance with anyone and articulate complex financial data clearly and effectively.
  • Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to transparency and data-driven decisions.
  • A teamplayer with a passion for continuous learning and adapting to new challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
