About the Role:

 

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving business growth and enhancing customer experiences? Allianz is seeking an experienced State Distribution Manager to lead and manage the distribution of our Commercial and Consumer general insurance products within Integrated Commercial. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact by coordinating superior customer experiences and achieving outstanding business results across Distribution, Underwriting, Specialty, and other One Allianz agencies.

 

Other key aspects of the role:

·  Developing and managing robust broker relationships across all segments, including Global, International, and Key Regional/National Partners.
·  Leading sales and service excellence, working closely with Underwriting and National Relationship Managers to deliver and negotiate sales pipelines and underwriting solutions.
·  Executing National Priorities and the Strategic Integrated Commercial Roadmap locally.
·  Crafting and implementing state broker sales strategies and business plans to drive efficient sales operations and achieve profitable growth targets.
·  Monitoring and managing business performance against sales targets and expenses, identifying opportunities for outperformance.
·  Maximizing new business strike rates and renewal retention by understanding customer needs and fostering broker loyalty.
·  Anticipating market and industry trends through competitor analysis and business relationships.
·  Maintaining a robust operating rhythm framework to monitor critical business activities and drive outperformance.
·  Representing Allianz in the market and collaborate across broader Allianz divisions.
·  Partnering with Distribution Enablement to address and resolve Risk and Compliance issues promptly.

 

Important to your success:

·  Significant leadership experience in a relevant industry, with a proven track record of empowering teams and building talent pipelines.
·  Strong ability to partner and collaborate with senior stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers.
·  Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with experience managing high-performing teams.
·  Extensive experience in developing and executing business strategies aligned with organizational vision.
·  Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic sales ability, including effective business planning and negotiation skills.
·  Sound technical knowledge of general insurance products and associated legislation.
·  Proven analytical skills with the ability to measure, analyze, and report on data and financial metrics.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting with clarity and influence.
·  Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver effective, customer-focused solutions.
