We are committed to building innovative solutions that empower our teams and enhance our data platform capabilities. We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the development and operations of our internal data platform built on AWS Cloud.
Job Description: As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and operations of our data platform. This position involves assisting in automating and streamlining deployment processes, setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and managing cloud infrastructure specific to our data platform. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure system reliability, performance, and security, while optimizing cloud resource usage and cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the automation and streamlining of deployment processes.
· Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support development and operations.
· Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
· Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize resource usage and implement cost management strategies.
· Contribute to system security and compliance efforts.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment and infrastructure.
· Continuously learn and implement DevOps tools and best practices.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· Foundational knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.
· Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Action
· Experience in scripting using Python and Bash or Shell.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
· Understanding of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
· knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.
