The primary purpose of this role is to support the Personal Injury Division by providing reporting, analysis and actionable insights through day-to-day operations and through support of divisional strategies (including associated projects and initiatives).
About the role

Leading or assisting with projects undertaken by the team and contributing to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and acting as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on business projects to ensure overall efficiency, functionality, accuracy, and user experience.

Managing data warehouse processes, codes for data extraction, design reports for claims management operations, and analysing performance data across platforms to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
·
Developing reporting to assist in business decision-making and support divisional strategy, including internal Allianz and external reporting submitted to regulators and clients.
·
Identifying and leading initiatives to improve processes, methodologies, and advice, strengthening data and analytics capability by developing approaches in line with best practice.
·
Supporting delivery management for the team, including timelines, resourcing, and managing stakeholder expectations regarding scope and prioritization.
·
Assisting with analytics projects undertaken by the team or broader divisional projects to increase efficiency, functionality, and/or user-friendliness of systems and/or processes.
·
Collaborating, building, and maintaining strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional customer service.
·
Adhering to Personal Injury Division Portfolio Performance team standards regarding technical review, peer review, documentation, and data governance.
Please note this is a 12-month secondment/ maximum term contract opportunity.
About you
·
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
·
Experience in a business and / or data analytics role.
·
Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
·
Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision-making.
·
Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
·
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.
·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact, and influence.
·
Technical skills (Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Programming Languages such as SAS, VBA, SQL etc.).
