Key responsibilities

 

·  Full responsibility for the technical processes for running the financial closing for insurance and reinsurance accounting
·  Driving further automation and implement efficiency gains in the accounting area to make all processes scalable for new business initiatives, as well as extending the processes in case of M&A
·  Guidance of another full time employee and of a working student within the Accounting Operations team for all data-related topics in the accounting domain
·  Support in financial migration in M&A projects
·  Support in running financial closing activities for insurance and reinsurance accounting

 

Qualifications/Key skills:

 

·  University degree in mathematics, business administration, business engineering or comparable
·  Fluent in business English. Business proficiency in German, Italian, Spanish or Dutch is also very welcome
·  Extensive experience with SAP and SQL
·  Good understanding of how insurance and reinsurance business works
·  Good understanding of accounting principles
·  Experience with Power BI and Python are a plus

 

Education & Experience:

 

·  Good financial expertise with focus on accounting with capability to develop and manage state of the art financial processes
·  Basic understanding of actuarial work will be a definite plus
·  Very sharp analytical and conceptual skills
·  Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
·  Team spirit, a demonstrably thorough working style and ability to work under pressure
