Job description
What you do
- Review, assess and process claims in line with our standard operating procedures, with a focus on more complex or high‑cost cases
- Make decisions on difficult or high‑value claims, ensuring they are fair, compliant, and clearly documented
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of approved claims for payment, coordinating with other departments and third‑party administrators where needed
- Handle escalated customer queries or complaints, explaining decisions clearly and managing expectations in a calm, professional way
- Support the Team Leader with day‑to‑day team activities, help achieve KPIs, and act as a backup Team Leader when required, including mentoring and coaching junior colleagues
- Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use
- Take on reasonable additional tasks and ad‑hoc duties to support smooth operations within the team
What you bring
- 2–3 years’ experience in a customer‑focused environment, ideally in clinical, paramedical, TPA or insurance roles, so you can quickly understand case details and navigate claims processes
- Bachelor’s degree in a Medical field, Paramedical, Finance, Business Administration, Insurance or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) to give you a solid foundation for evaluating claims
- Confident user of MS Office and able to work accurately with digital tools and data, as this role depends on clear documentation and efficient processing
- Strong customer focus with clear communication and interpersonal skills, so you can handle escalations, explain decisions and build trust with customers and colleagues
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and service standards in a structured, reliable way
- A collaborative, ethical team player who can support others, share knowledge and step up when the Team Leader is absent
- Legally permitted to work in the country of operations and able to meet the physical requirements of the role
