About the Job
Allianz Technology Security & Resilience is the core team and central driver for Information Security at Allianz Technology. The function is tasked to continue developing a strong security organization by establishing global security solutions and countermeasures and to oversee the effectiveness and guide the implementation of security controls.
Within the Security & Resilience division of Allianz Technology SE, Protection & Resilience (P&R) is a global team that brings together experts to anticipate and prepare our organization to respond to, and recover from, any disruption, emergency or crisis whilst at the time, find opportunities to continuously and comprehensively build resilience both internally as well as across the entire Allianz Group. This includes the governing and execution of business continuity, IT disaster recovery, crisis / emergency / incident management and protective security so that we can protect our global operations, people and reputation.
We are looking for you: A Protection & Resilience Principal Manager with a background in relevant resilience and/or security-related disciplines as well experience with governance and/or project management. Functionally reporting to the Head of Protection & Resilience and locally reporting to the head of Security and Resilience in Allianz Technology Spain, you will be responsible for overlooking and coordinating activities ongoing across the areas of the Intelligence Fusion Centre incl. Global Incident Management, Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Protective Security and 3rd Party Risk Management. This includes but is not limited to maintaining and updating P&R policies and standards, consulting, advising, and supporting stakeholders across the globe on P&R, coordinating global P&R governance and preparing reports for management committees.

What you do
· Maintain an overview of all P&R activities being performed, and ensure related activities are being harmonized to prevent silos and work towards common goals.
· Consult and provide advice on P&R capabilities (IFC / business continuity / crisis management / protective security, 3rd party risk mgmt.) across the organization, offering support where required.
· Prepare reports (via coordinating inputs from P&R experts) for reporting to management committees / executive management / global response teams.
· Coordinate senior experts in managing strategic projects and initiatives that build or enhance global P&R capabilities.
· Coordinate the strategic and / or tactical response coordinators with the response to local and / or global disruptions, emergencies or crises.
· Remain up to date on industry trends and best practice relating to P&R.
· Other related P&R activities as required by the Head of P&R.
What you bring
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in two or more areas such as operational resilience, crisis management, emergency management, disaster management, business continuity management, protective security, risk management, intelligence, or related fields, with more experience preferred.
· Preferably at least 1 year of people management and/or team leadership experience, holding a university degree or equivalent in disciplines like disaster/emergency management, risk management, international security, business administration, political science, economics, or related fields.
· Very good analytical and conceptual skills, alongside excellent organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and work objectives.
· Strong influencing, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively reach a diverse and wide audience.
· Ability to work self-responsibly and autonomously, especially under high pressure, with familiarity in communication and presentation tools, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Capability to build collaborative working relationships and effectively work in virtual, international, and complex team environments.
· Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English, with additional languages as a plus.
