About the Job
As a Project Manager at Allianz Technology, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and maintenance of business cases, including performing financial analysis, cost estimation, and earned value calculations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for business case development and service management activities.
Your responsibilities include monitoring and tracking project progress, ensuring business cases are updated and revised as necessary, and identifying and mitigating risks and issues related to business cases and service management. You'll coordinate and prepare project documentation, with a strong focus on service management requirements.
What you do
· Assist project managers in the development and maintenance of business cases, including financial analysis, cost estimation, and earned value calculations.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and information necessary for business case development, as well as for service management activities.
· Monitor and track project progress, ensuring that business cases are updated and revised as necessary.
· Support project managers in the identification and mitigation of risks and issues related to business cases and service management.
· Assist in the coordination and preparation of project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, with a strong focus on service management requirements.
· Perform classic PMO tasks, such as project portfolio management, resource allocation, project governance, and project reporting.
· Maintain and update project management tools and systems, ensuring accurate and timely project data and reporting
· Implementing Jira dashboards and collaborate with the teams to manage dependencies and deviations.
What you bring
· Fluency in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Preferably experience in Allianz (Technology) with knowledge of tools, structures and processes
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
· Proficient in financial analysis, cost estimation, and earned value calculations, as well as service management methodologies.
· Experience in project management, preferably within a PMO or business case-focused role, with a strong understanding of service management principles.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment, with a strong focus on service delivery and customer satisfaction.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Proficiency in using project management software and tools, e.h. Jira, as well as service management tools and systems.
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. A certification in project management and/or service management is a plus.
