Project Manager - License Review & Cost Optimization

Job description

Allianz Technology Spain Hub is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to lead our License Review and Workplace Cost Optimization initiative. This role is integral to our Financial Optimization Plan, a key pillar of our Spain Hub Strategy for 2024. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, automation tools, and engaging with Product Owners and Service Owners within a large organization. This position offers significant growth opportunities, with the potential to develop into more advanced roles within the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Project Management:

·  Lead the License Review and Workplace Cost Optimization project, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
·  Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
·  Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and deliverables.

 

Data Analysis and Optimization:

·  Conduct detailed analysis of workplace costs, including IT licenses, software packages, and management services.
·  Identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and unnecessary expenses.
·  Implement cost-saving initiatives, ensuring long-term sustainability without compromising quality.

Stakeholder Engagement:

·  Engage with key stakeholders, including Product Owners, Service Owners, and other team members.
·  Facilitate regular meetings and check-ins to ensure alignment and effective communication.
·  Provide updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

 

Process Improvement:

·  Develop and implement standardized guidelines and oversight mechanisms for license allocation.
·  Automate and optimize processes using tools.
·  Ensure seamless synchronization between systems.
·  Team Leadership:
·  Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
·  Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
·  Identify any additional staffing needs and support the hiring process as required.

 

Qualifications

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

 

Experience:

·  3-5 years of experience in IT project management, data analysis, or a related field within a large organization.
·  Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation to completion.
·  Familiarity with financial analysis and cost management in an IT context.

 

Technical Skills:

·  Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI) and office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
·  Strong knowledge of IT systems and tools.
·  Experience with automation tools and techniques for process optimization.

 

Soft Skills:

·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with various stakeholders.
·  Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
·  Detail-oriented and organized with strong time-management skills.
