About the Job
Allianz Technology Spain Hub is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to lead our License Review and Workplace Cost Optimization initiative.
This role is integral to our Financial Optimization Plan, a key pillar of our Spain Hub Strategy for 2024. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, automation tools, and engaging with Product Owners and Service Owners within a large organization. This position offers significant growth opportunities, with the potential to develop into more advanced roles within the organization.
What you do
· Lead the License Review and Workplace Cost Optimization project, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets while monitoring progress and adjusting plans to meet deadlines and deliverables.
· Conduct detailed analysis of workplace costs, including IT licenses, software packages, and management services, identifying redundancies, inefficiencies, and unnecessary expenses, and implementing cost-saving initiatives for long-term sustainability without compromising quality.
· Engage with key stakeholders such as Product Owners, Service Owners, and team members, facilitating regular meetings and check-ins to ensure alignment and effective communication, while providing updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
· Develop and implement standardized guidelines and oversight mechanisms for license allocation, automating and optimizing processes using tools to ensure seamless synchronization between systems.
· Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, mentoring and supporting junior team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
· Identify additional staffing needs and support the hiring process as required, ensuring the team is adequately resourced to meet project goals.
· Implement process improvements and optimization strategies, ensuring efficient operations and alignment with strategic objectives.
What you bring
· Familiarity with financial analysis and cost management in an IT context, demonstrating proficiency with data analysis tools like Excel and PowerBI, and office software such as MS Office Suite.
· Strong knowledge of IT systems and tools, with experience in automation tools and techniques for process optimization.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with various stakeholders.
· Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative in projects and tasks.
· Detail-oriented and organized, possessing strong time-management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities.
· 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, data analysis, or a related field within a large organization, with a proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation to completion.
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, with relevant certifications as a plus.
