About the Role:

Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for financial risk management and capital optimization? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where innovation and collaboration drive success? If so, Allianz invites you to shape the future of capital management as our Product Owner, Head of Capital Management.

 

As the Product Owner, Head of Capital Management, you will play a pivotal role in advising our Board and Management on financial risk appetite and required capital. You will lead efforts to optimize capital usage across multiple frameworks, ensuring compliance with APRA, Solvency 2, and rating agency requirements. Your insights will influence key business decisions, driving Allianz Australia’s contribution to the Group.

 

Other key aspects of the role:

·  Communicating and implementing the Capital Management Vision in alignment with the Board’s appetites.
·  Balancing financial risk and capital usage across APRA, Rating Agencies, and Solvency 2 frameworks.
·  Delivering locally compliant ICAAP and foster innovation in capital management.
·  Designing and managing controls related to capital management activities.
·  Monitoring Allianz Australia's capital position and propose necessary adjustments.
·  Collaborating with Finance stakeholders and internal customers.
·  Leading ad-hoc projects and business cases as directed by the Chief Actuary.

 

Important to your success:

·  Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with relevant certification.
·  Extensive experience in financial frameworks and capital management.
·  Strong ability to identify and manage financial reporting risks and ensure compliance.
·  Proven capability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively.
·  Excellent strategic planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
·  Demonstrated experience in process optimization and project management.
·  Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate insights and influence decisions.
·  Agile mindset and experience with Agile methodologies.
