Private Equity Financial Analyst (f/m/d) - 2 year FTC

Job purpose/Role

To support the growth of our Private Markets product range, we are seeking to recruit a Data Administrator in the field of Alternative Investments. In this role you will primarily be in charge of administrating our investment data, overseeing our process data flows and ensuring data integrity, accuracy and consistency for our private equity transaction and investor data as well as report creation on asset and investor level. You will join an experienced team of subject matter experts, liaising with colleagues in an international environment.

What you will do

• Overseeing the management of financial data related to private market transactions including ensuring that data is accurate, complete and up-to-date
• Ensuring databases are properly maintained by reconciling with other data sources
• Creating reports and analytics for internal and external stakeholders to provide insights into our financial transactions and client vehicles
• Ensuring that all financial data and transactions are compliant with regulatory requirements
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to data management and reporting to ensure that they are efficient and effective
• Collaborate with investment manager teams, other members of the Private Markets Operations department and other internal/external interfaces (e.g. Risk, Compliance)
• Ensuring attention to improve and harmonize the private markets investment operating model with a focus on transactions and vehicles

What you bring

• Solid knowledge and understanding of the illiquid private markets industry and related operational topics and challenges and within areas such as transactions and funds / vehicles
• A couple of years of working experience in either the asset management industry (i.e. ManCo, AIFM, Service provider) or within pure play Alternatives firms with particular emphasis on investment support, financial/regulatory reporting or data administration
• Good knowledge of private market funds and investment strategies like Infrastructure Equity/Debt, PE, RE, FoF, Renewables
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office applications (especially Excel/VBA) and a solid understanding of MS Power App or Power Automate would be a plus
• Strong ambition to automate and optimize processes
• Knowledge on front office data administration tools like Allvue or eFront or reporting solutions like PowerBI would be a plus
• Ideally a sound understanding of the investment lifecycle for Private Markets fund structures
• Technical skills in terms of programming / automating are a significant value
• Strong interpersonal skills and the dedication to build positive relationships, internally and externally
• Excellent organizational skills and strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail

• Fluency in both written and spoken English, knowledge of German would be an asset
