About the Role
As the National Manager, Facilities & Fleet, you will be at the forefront of maintaining high-quality corporate office environments and managing our national fleet of vehicles. Your focus will be on supporting business operations, leading sustainability initiatives, and ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory obligations
Key Responsibilities

Facility Management: Lead operations such as mailroom, concierge, maintenance services, and safety while ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Policy Development: Create and maintain policies and standards for service delivery, environmental, WHS, and legislative compliance.
·
Budget Management: Oversee annual budgets and financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
·
Sustainability Initiatives: Implement initiatives and KPIs to enhance environmental performance and sustainability.
·
Operational Improvement: Identify and lead change programs to improve efficiency and quality outcomes.
·
Safety Compliance: Manage health and safety compliance, including emergency procedures and risk assessments.
·
Lease Management: Handle lease agreements, including renewals, terminations, and compliance with lease terms.
·
Workplace Reconfigurations: Oversee national workplace reconfigurations and minor project management.
·
Fleet Management: Ensure optimal utilization and maintenance of the vehicle fleet, including transitioning to battery electric vehicles.
·
Issue Escalation: Act as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues.
·
Business Case Preparation: Prepare business cases and reports for executive and committee submissions.
About you
·
Extensive experience in managing diverse property and facilities portfolios, with a focus on optimising operational efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness through strategic development and implementation.

Expertise in fleet services, vendor management, and financial oversight, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
·
Strong leadership skills, demonstrated in managing cross-functional teams and external service providers, along with the ability to develop and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure high-quality service delivery and contract compliance.
·
Solid knowledge of building maintenance, sustainability initiatives, risk management, and relevant Australian regulations, including health and safety standards, coupled with financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and implementing cost-saving measures.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and business objectives.
