Job description
JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
Within the Finance Department of Allianz S.p.A., the Life Accounting Team is responsible for all Regulatory and Group reporting requirements related to the Life insurance and financial companies of Allianz S.p.A. Group.
The candidate will be actively involved in the closing processes of Allianz S.p.A. Group Life entities, according to the relevant accounting principles (Italian Gaaps, IFRS, Solvency II), and in the preparation of the reporting for the Italian regulator and for the Group headquarter.
Furthermore, the candidate will take part to the Group projects aimed at switching from the current local accounting system to the Group accounting framework, working together with colleagues from other teams and foreign companies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the role are listed below:
- End-to-end closing process and regulatory reporting, ensuring both deadlines and data quality
- Relationship with other business and control departments, involved in closing activities
- Support for auditors, board of directors and other corporate functions
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- University degree in Economics or equivalent
- Experience: 2+ years in the Finance Department of an insurance company or as an insurance Auditor
- Background: knowledge of Insurance local, IFRS and Solvency II accounting principles; experience in the Life segment will be considered as a plus
- Fluent in English
- Ability to engage and interact with different stakeholders
- Ability to work in flexible teams and to establish a constructive working climate
- Proactive approach
- Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and Excel for Data Modeling and Data Reporting
