Job description
Internal Sales Consultant for Allianz Life Insurance products. You will provide consultative sales services through 800 line. You will influence independent agents to write Allianz business with objective of achieving regionally based sales targets through emphasis on focus firms. Sales eff orts are in consideration of sales targets of external Life team. You will improve Allianz Life’s Top Line Growth. You will report to the Internal Sales Consultant Manager Life.
What you do:
- Sales Consulting: Use knowledge of Allianz Life Insurance products to turn each agent contact into an opportunity to gain commitment from the agent for business. Probe to identify what company the agent is selling for and positions Allianz products against the competition. Use existing marketing materials to promote Allianz products against the competition including Allianz Life’s value added programs. Exceed important performance benchmarks with an emphasis on accomplishment of sales goals. Use databases and other data collection methods to track agent production levels on current and proposed sales activity including agent feedback and comments. Once proficient in role, begin to make outbound calls and build a small book of business (agents) to create long-term future sales opportunities. Exhibit decision-making through identifying agents having the potential of doing more business with Allianz. Exhibit initiative to grow the relationship and production status from identified agents. Interaction with Division & Enterprise: Generate and communicate agent activity and pertinent information to Internal Sales Supervisor, External team and Channel Head. Communicate industry trends and competitor information to Division Management Team. Communicate field reaction to product rollout marketing strategy and existing product marketing efforts.

- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
What you bring:
- 1 or more years experience required: prior sales experience
- High school diploma required
- State Life License required or obtained within 60 days
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.
Internal Sales Consultant I Life Base Salary Range $45,000 - $50,000
Internal Sales Consultant II Life Base Salary Range $54,000 - $60,000
Internal Sales Consultant III Life Base Salary Range $58,500 - $65,000
In addition to base salary, a portion of your total compensation is based on commissions. Actual commission earned is driven by assigned territory and individual sales performance.
