Who will you be joining? 

 

Group Sustainable Operations drives the company’s efforts to reduce environmental impact, from buildings and travel to reporting and global sustainability projects. We also manage partnerships with ocean organizations and work on initiatives dedicated to protecting the ocean and educating employees.
We are looking for an intern for at least 6 months to support our ocean-related projects and communications. In this role, you will help bring our initiatives to life by creating engaging content, organizing events, carrying out research, and supporting partnership management. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in sustainability, communications, and project management while making an impact.

 

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

  • Create and publish engaging content for internal (intranet, newsletters) and external (LinkedIn) channels, including articles that promote and raise awareness about our ocean sustainability partnerships and initiatives
  • Support the planning and delivery of events (such as onsite booths, offsites, and team events) by contributing to brainstorming, event design, stakeholder coordination, logistics, and execution
  • Design eye-catching visuals and presentations to promote initiatives and events
  • Assist with the management of existing ocean partnerships
  • Conduct research on ocean-related topics and sustainability initiatives
  • Be flexible and support the wider team with additional tasks when capacity allows

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Enrolled in University for the entire duration of employment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) in English; knowledge of German is highly welcomed
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365 (Teams, Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook) and Canva
  • Flexibility, can-do attitude and independence
  • Creative mindset with a good eye for design and storytelling
  • Ability to organize engaging events and manage logistics; organizational and time-management skills
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Interest in sustainability and ocean protection
