About the Role:
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for data-driven solutions? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where strategic development and operational excellence are key? Allianz Australia Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Data Operations and Strategic Delivery to lead our data initiatives and drive our business forward.
Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, you will own the end-to-end management of data-related products and initiatives. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality, data-driven solutions that align with Allianz Australia's business strategy and operations. You will work closely with business leaders, IT, and other stakeholders to enhance our data strategy and asset utilisation.
Other key aspects of the role:
· Leading the delivery of data products, ensuring strategic development, operational stability, and performance.
· Collaborating with IT on data architectural design to meet user requirements.
· Engaging with stakeholders to drive data strategy and optimize asset utilisation.
· Overseeing enterprise Business As Usual (BAU) operations, including change management and incident management.
· Managing program funding in consultation with the Centralised Portfolio Management Office (CPMO).
· Ensuring compliance with Data Governance and Management Framework standards.
· Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and promote Agile delivery.
Important to your success:
· Significant experience leading Data Products project team in a complex medium to large organisation.
· Knowledge and proven skills in contributing to data architecture design to meet user requirements.
· Experience in managing key client accounts and stakeholders.
· Demonstrated record of successfully leading and delivering strategic data related programs and projects within time, budget and resource constraints and sustaining outcomes.
· Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and data related solutions.
· Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes including delivery teams.
· Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision making.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
· Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing resource demands across a specialised data team.
