The primary function of this position is to lead Consumer Divisions integration , of businesses following Merger and Acquisitions (M&A) activities.
About the role
· Leading integration programs, including project planning, project implementation, and hypercare, ensuring delivery to meet key milestones.
· Leading the integration program office for Consumer and integration cross-functional teams, fostering effective collaboration and resolving dependencies and conflicts.
· Being responsible for high-level planning and delivery of the integration project, effectively managing multiple workstreams and interdependencies across the program.
· Developing and implementing appropriate program governance.
· Developing, owning, and managing project reporting, including status updates to program stakeholders, addressing challenges and risks proactively.
· Recommending and proposing decisions during the lifecycle of the program.
· Facilitating discussions to answer questions, remedy program issues and risks, and creating and nurturing effective communication within the program.
· Ensuring effective risk identification, management, mitigation, and reporting.
· Ensuring effective stakeholder management and communication.
· Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
· Ensuring the needs and issues of all stakeholders are assessed, understood, and documented.
Please note this is a 12-month secondment/ fixed term contract opportunity.
About you
· Strong demonstrated experience in leading M&A integration projects or programs as it relates to acquisitions
· Experience in a program lead relationship role for a complex, matrixed financial services or general insurance organisation.
· Demonstrated experience of completing projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
· Strong understanding of Program and Business strategic direction and capable of discussing these and applying them to process design.
· Highly developed stakeholder management skills, demonstrating the ability to liaise with business effectively.
· Strong analytical skills, problem-solving and attention to detail, including the ability to process and analyse complex information and data.
· Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task across multiple areas and work in a fast moving, complex, large corporate environment.
· Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and consulting skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact, and influence.
