GLOBAL SURETY DATA & BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE INTERN W/M - Allianz - FRANCE

Join Allianz Trade as a Business Analyst in our Global Surety team and be at the heart of strategic decision-making on a global scale. In this high-impact role, you'll lead the transformation of business intelligence by designing and enhancing dashboards using MicroStrategy. Acting as a key link between Group functions and Regional teams, you'll drive consistency, accuracy, and insight across our data landscape. Your work will directly support the leadership to ease strategic decision making.

Main Missions

This role is fully English and your main tasks will be:

Migrate our current reporting dashboards to MicroStrategy, a BI software
Create new reports & dashboards in BI software with the business users by developing interactive charts to easily interpret and understand the data
Refine and enhance & dashboards in BI software in cooperation with the business users
Execute any ad hoc analysis request raised by the business
Provide creative input to understand data flow logic for effective dashboard creation
Assist the team in setting the data governance
Collaborate on data dictionary
Contribute to ad hoc projects or tasks

Requirements

Your profile and experience will ideally contain:

Master's degree or equivalent (Bac +4/5, MBA) related to Business Administration or Finance from a business school or university
First successful internship in Controlling or Corporate Finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, basic VBA skills, and familiarity with MicroStrategy are required
Familiarity with features of any other Business Intelligence platform, especially in metric creation, derived metric calculations, will be an added advantage
Structured and detail-oriented mindset to produce qualitative, yet easy to read and understand reports
Strong communication and representation skills
Ability to listen and collaborate in an effective way
Fluent English (both spoken and written)
International and curious mindset
Hands on attitude, not afraid of bringing up new ideas
