About the Job  

 

The Allianz Technology Finance Hub in Barcelona is looking for a Financial Controller to support the Benelux Region.

 

The Financial Controller plans, forecasts, reports, analyzes, and challenges Financial KPIs and their main driver for services, projects and line cost centers in close collaboration with the business, and co-ordinates improvement measures. He/she/they advises and supports managers in all financial controlling topics.

 

Furthermore, the Financial Controller is responsible for implementation of controlling processes and systems and ensuring compliance to controlling-relevant standards.

 

 

What you do

 

·  Analyze financial performance to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities; provide transparent and visual recommendations to enable decision-making.
·  Create and provide financial analyses, reports, and dashboards for various stakeholders on ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and yearly bases.
·  Responsible for monthly analysis of expenses and completion of reporting templates; monitor actuals versus plan, analyze deviations and their drivers, and recommend measures to ensure plan achievement.
·  Develop recommendations for financial targets within strategic and operational planning and forecasting processes (long-, mid-, and short-term perspectives).
·  Perform annual planning delivery, including planbook input for budgeting and staff costs input in SAP during budget, cost, and revenue planning.
·  Manage and approve pricing processes, including transfer pricing compliance; liaise with procurement on costs for contracts; manage billing processes and support pricing of fully managed services to PxQ.
·  Support and challenge business representatives based on financial analysis; advise on business case development, evaluate financial impact, and provide recommendations for top-management decisions on projects.

 

 

What you bring

 

·  Experience with systems relevant for controlling, such as SAP FI-CO/BW; applying analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual skills, and moderation and presentation techniques.
·  Quick understanding of existing procedures and ability to efficiently cooperate with team members and colleagues to carry out concrete tasks.
·  Ability to work fully independently and solve complex problems or situations using multiple sources of information.
·  Capability to take responsibility and be accountable for a project or a team; role model character with talent to drive new ideas and challenge existing solutions.
·  Understanding of (IT) service management and (IT) service organizations.
·  3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, with relevant work experience in accounting, controlling, or related fields.
·  Higher education degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related area; possessing controlling, economic, and business knowledge.
