Job role

The Financial Accountant is responsible for performing daily postings related to bank statements in S4Fiori and executing monthly closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

 

 

What you will do

  • Account statement processing as part of bank accounting, clarification of unassigned cash flows
  • Ensuring that all bank movements in SAP are either posted automatically or, if not, process them manually
  • Reconciliation of GL accounts related to those postings (suspense accounts)
  • Reconciliation of bank account balances (SAP GL account vs. bank account in ACTS/ATP)
  • Processing of intercompany and accounts receivable accounting, reconciliation of receivables/payables and monitoring of open items
  • Identification, evaluation and implementation of potential optimization of internal booking processes
  • Performance of analytical reconciliation tasks within the framework of account responsibility
  • Interface with various supported Allianz companies
  • Participation in projects related to payment transactions and SAP environment
  • Handling the payment and related accounting processes for Allianz companies 

 

What you bring

  • Strong academic background (preferably Accounting, Business Administration, Economics
  • Good ability to interact with different stakeholder
  • Good experience with SAP FI
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills, logical in approach and high attention to detail
  • Excellent understanding of numbers and processes
  • Good user skills in MS Office (esp. Excel)
  • ACCA, CECCAR or similar diplomas are a plus
