About the Job

As the UX/UI Enablement Manager at Allianz's Center of Excellence, you will empower our global community of UX/UI Designers, UX Researchers, Frontend Developers, and related roles. Your mission is to enhance their productivity and quality through effective knowledge transfer, optimized workflows, and robust tool management. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant UX community, driving innovation, and ensuring our design processes are cutting-edge.

What you do 

·  Lead central knowledge  sharing and drive development  and rollout of best-practices in the UX/UI field. Collaborate with UX domain experts to create comprehensive training and coaching programs that elevate the skill set of our global community.
·  Co-lead the global UX Community of Practice, actively engaging over 150 members.
·  Conduct skill assessments and manage the skill enhancement of Allianz's global UI/UX expert population, ensuring they are equipped with the latest industry knowledge and tools.
·  Drive innovation by identifying, testing, and piloting new UX tools, plugins, and workflow improvements. Focus on enhancing productivity through tools like Figma plugins, design-to-code solutions, and AI technologies, facilitating their global rollout.
·  Transform Allianz DesignOps into a premier global service that enhances work quality, efficiency, and time-to-productivity for designers and researchers. Develop strategies that streamline operations and foster collaboration in agile teams. Be the central contact for DesignOps, addressing and processing incoming requests effectively.
·  Oversee the management of Allianz's Figma platform, ensuring seamless access to design libraries and resources for all designers. Implement strategies that optimize the use of design tools across the organization.
·  Lead service management for UI/UX tools, including vendor management and alignment with business stakeholders. Ensure that all tools and services meet the evolving needs of the organization and contribute to overall productivity and quality.

What you bring 

·  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
·  5-8 years as a UX/UI designer in agile, large-scale, international projects. Empathy for designers, researchers, frontend developers, and agile roles, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse audience.
·  Proficient in modern UX/UI design processes and tools, especially Figma.
·  Experience in working in design system teams in a large companies is a plus.
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
·  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
·  Solid understanding of web technologies, including Angular, CSS, code editors, and GitHub.
·  Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
·  Professional spoken and written English language skills.
