Building on our strong foundation in Singapore and India, Allianz Consulting is establishing a new strategic hub in Kuala Lumpur. This expansion creates an exceptional opportunity for experienced consultants to shape our Malaysian practice from the ground up, while leveraging our established APAC network. As a member of this founding team in Malaysia, you will partner directly with C-suite leaders to drive transformative initiatives across one of the world's most dynamic insurance markets.
As a consultant, you will support strategic and transformation initiatives while building core consulting capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced team members, develop client-facing skills, and contribute to the success of our growing practice.
Key Responsibilities
Support strategic initiatives and programs through data-driven analysis, structured problem-solving, and implementation of high-impact solutions for our operating entities
Develop effective client relationships while working alongside senior team members to deliver successful outcomes
Build expertise in key strategic areas through project work and knowledge development
Contribute to business development through research and proposal support
Key Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree
1 to 2 years of experience, with a preference for candidates with prior Tier 1/ Tier 2 management consulting or advisory experience. Experience in mergers and acquisitions, sales and distribution, transaction advisory or IT delivery is a plus
Financial services/ insurance knowledge is a plus
Fluent in spoken and written English. A second language would be an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills – able to work effectively in teams and communicate with stakeholders
Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including methodological thinking and presentation skills
Passionate and self-driven with a desire to learn and innovate
International mindset or ability to work in diverse cultural environments
