An opportunity exists for an individual looking to utilise their workers compensation claims expertise, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience. As a Claims Specialist working in the Recovery and Client Partnership Team, your focus in this role will be to identify and implement strategies to support programs that improve performance.

 

About the role

·  Supporting business objectives, ensuring service levels, customer expectations and regulatory obligations are met.
·  Managing internal relationships and promoting cross-team collaboration to resolve issues and achieve optimal outcomes.
·  Influence and drive actions with teams to improve claims management and embed best practice principles.
·  Proactively engage with clients, partners and providers in the identification and development of key programs of work relevant to business/ performance need.
·  Leading the delivery of key programs, ensuring alignment with program intent and objectives are met.
·  Monitoring and reporting on emerging trends and business risks, providing insights to inform claim strategies and client performance
·  Partnering with Business Account Managers in conducting root cause analysis and supporting the improvement in service delivery.
·  Providing actionable recommendations to the Team Manager and contributing to initiatives to address portfolio risks, including advocating for best practice claims management

 

About you

·  A passion for helping our customers and delivering a great customer experience
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships
·  The ability to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives
·  Experience within a personal injury or disability setting and/or an Allied Health background with demonstrated experience in supporting injury recovery through a clinical setting.
·  Resilience and a proven ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
·  Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
