We are looking for a Claims Delegated Authorities Manager (m/f/d), based in London.
Your Team
Our global team is dedicated to enabling a complaint, efficient and effective process of delegating claims handling authority – be it to TPAs, MGAs or other Facility partners. We provide the frameworks, tools and processes to lead and support the Claims Business Owner in the Regional Lines of Business throughout the lifecycle of a Claims Delegated Authority.
The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Claims Strategic Partnership Manager, you will oversee global Claims Delegated Authority relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, Allianz standards, and Claims philosophy. You will collaborate with Claims Business Owners across various Lines of Business and jurisdictions (eg US, UK, Germany, France), supporting Governance and Compliance throughout the Delegated Authority lifecycle. You will work closely with a cross-functional Facilities team and Claims Business Owners to manage Governance and Compliance throughout the Delegated Authority's lifetime.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Screen third parties for Delegated Claims Handling to ensure compliance with Allianz standards, Claims philosophy, and legal requirements. Evaluate their capability and provide consultation and guidance to the Claims Business Owner as needed. Collaboratively sign off on the delegation of authority and financial authority level, documenting the rationale.

Ensure claims due diligence is regularly documented and updated.

Lead contract negotiations from a Claims perspective and ensure both Allianz’ and regulatory requirements are adequately reflected, manage regular contract reviews and renewals resp. termination.

Coordinate the audit process, review and document audit results and support Business Owner in following up on those.

Support business Owner during transition of terminated relationships.

Establish and maintain good rapport with Delegated Claims Administrators and other stakeholders, especially the Claims Business Owner, Underwriting, Outsourcing and Portfolio Solutions

Regularly challenge and re-think existing processes and standards together with Claims Governance & Integrity in order to ensure both best-in-class and efficient procedures are utilized for this growing part of the business.

Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes etc and implement them into frameworks

Sharing your expertise eg through trainings
What You’ll Bring to the Role
·
Experience as a (Claims) Delegated Authority Manager or as a Senior Claims Handler who has worked extensively with Delegated Authority arrangements
·
Experience with London-market and overseas delegated authority arrangements (eg US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Singapore)
·
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, Customer-mindset, strong cooperative approach
·
Good understanding of Claims requirements (min 5 years)
·
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
·
Ability to work in an international environment and outstanding inter-cultural skills
·
A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.
