The primary purpose of this role is to collaborate with and support business unit stakeholders and project managers by providing insightful reporting and assist with the assessment and delivery of business process enhancement initiatives.

 

About the role

· 
 Overseeing digital vendor management, implementing Salesforce, documenting requirements, mapping processes, liaising with stakeholders, and autonomously analysing and running platforms with a focus on Salesforce backend data to ensure smooth project execution.

· 
Analysing and delivering business process initiatives, either managing some components of mid-sized initiatives or all components of small initiatives.

· 
Clarifying and translating business requirements into documentation and solution designs using appropriate tools, models, data analysis, process analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.

· 
Identifying innovative methods of dealing with organisational problems and opportunities within the business through consultation, scanning, discussion, and engagement with business representatives.

· 
Participating in the project lifecycle, working closely with the client or stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood, documented, and delivered on time and on budget, and in compliance with project governance structures and other applicable internal and external risk, audit, and compliance frameworks.

· 
Coordinating and contributing to design and documentation efforts for system enhancements/developments.

· 
Coordinating and contributing to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality, and user-friendliness of system enhancement/development.

· 
Preparing material and providing training and assistance to end-users following implementation to ensure appropriate participation and utilization.

 

Please note this is a 12-month fixed term opportunity/ secondment.

 

About you

· 
2+ years of experience as a Digital Business Analyst in any industry

· 
Hands-on experience with Salesforce and its backend data requirements

· 
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.

· 
Significant experience in a business and / or data analytics or business process re-engineering role for a complex matrixed general insurance or financial services organisation.

· 
Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.

· 
Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision-making.

· 
Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.

· 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.

· 
Understanding of or trained in OPEX / Lean / Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
