Job description
The candidate will join the Actuarial Pricing Motor unit and will be involved in the following activities:
• Data manipulation and preparation for statistical analysis
• Develop and update models for Motor products using advanced statistical techniques like Generalized Linear Model and Machine learning
• Tariff definition/revision based on evidence from statistical models with impact analysis or scenario testing
• Technical quotation for corporate/automotive business
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial, Physics or Computer Science
• Knowledge of mathematical/scientific models or actuarial models would be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of SAS, Towers Watsons suite for insurance (Modeller, radar base, classifier) and Office suite (incl. VBA for Excel)
• High problem-solving attitude
• Great curiosity in order to create an overall vision
• Proactive, result-driven working style
• Ability to work independently as well as engage and interact with different stakeholders
• Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in motor or retail pricing
