What you do:

 

  • Claims Management: Operate under limited supervision to guarantee claims accuracy and deliver outstanding customer service. Analyze and adjudicate life insurance claims, including living benefits and death claims. Collaborate with internal partners such as Underwriting, Actuarial, and Legal departments, as well as external investigative resources, to manage complex claims, including contestable claim investigations. Investigate, evaluate, and determine appropriate actions for submitted claims, applying extensive knowledge of Allianz's business, products, customers, and operations while adhering to established guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulations. Consistently meet or exceed quality and service standards.
  • Workload Management: Efficiently handle reinsurance, correspondence, reports, and projects to ensure smooth operations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive and precise records of claims activities, including relevant documentation, correspondence, and investigation findings.
  • Service and Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for service and process enhancements, analyze trends, and propose changes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Utilize extensive process knowledge to anticipate customer needs, identify potential issues, and develop recommendations for resolution.
  • Special Assignments: Engage in special projects as needed to support business objectives.

 

What you bring:

  • 2-3  years experience required: Allianz Operations, Insurance or Financial Industry, in various customer service focused areas
  • High school diploma required

 

 

Base Salary Range: $57,000 - $114,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
