Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Workpackage leader (d/m/w) for combat cloud IT infrastructure projects (d/f/m)
In the frame of the development of a large defence programme, you will be the project manager of a complete subsystem . The team size is over 15 people in three countries from three industrial partners and is managed in an Agile manner.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Work in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations combine the Strategy, Organization and Culture to create an effective environment for delivery of results.

Engage and motivate the people (involved and stakeholders / customers) to promote Self-reflection, Self-management, Communication and Teamwork.

Manage Conflicts and Negotiation to achieve optimized results for the business.
·
Define and develop the objectives hierarchy of the project or product using appropriate strategies, methods and tools.
·
Engage stakeholders in a governance that ensures effective use of time, budget and achievement of quality.
Integrate processes and people from other functions (matrix organizations).
·
Ensure effective integration of lessons learnt. Ensure active risk and opportunity and contract (internal or external) management.
·
Ensure effective management of partners and suppliers.
·
Manage the Work Package to ensure on-time, on-cost, on quality & on-performance delivery
·
Ensure right level of requirement/information cascade to allow the team / supplier to perform its duty
·
Coordinate and synchronize the work-packages’ activities (technical, configuration management, safety, security, product assurance, architecture, IVQ,…)
·
Manage Risks & Opportunities
·
Manage key interfaces, interdependencies & the best possible synchronization between stakeholders
·
Manage the procurement of components
Desired skills and qualifications
·
Very good knowledge in project management & tender process
·
Background on system architecture, development, IVV (Integration, Verification, Validation) process
·
PMO & traceability tools (ex. PMOT, JIRA, RQM, ARM, …)
·
English advanced level
·
Knowledge of engineering in IAAS, PAAS, environment/systems, Operations ITIL and procurement would be a plus
