Logistics Operations Services for Plant Hamburg

The jobholder will join the Airbus Central Logistics Team and therefore will be an integral part of the Airbus value chain, providing the necessary parts for aircraft Production in Pre-FAL Hamburg. 

Our team is responsible for the major warehouse in Hamburg, as well as the end-to-end material flow to the Production Line. Our target is to optimize the End-to-End Supply Chain, as well increasing logistics capacities and making our Logistics greener. 

She/he will be responsible to propose, conduct and support improvements in the logistics scope. Analyzing data, assessing processes and performing shopfloor validation will be key aspects of the role.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

· 
Be responsible to conduct and support logistic operation improvements

· 
Perform analysis of data and processes

· 
Conclude on your results and propose as well as implement improvements measures

· 
Create logical data monitorings and meaningful reports

Desired skills and qualifications

· 
Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, IT or an equivalent field of study.

· 
First practical experience in the field of Logistics, Supply Chain or Manufacturing is desirable.

· 
Passion for processes, improvements and operations

· 
Fluent in German and English

· 
Sound analytical skills and an understanding of logistical processes

· 
Some knowledge of SAP or DataAnalytics is desirable, but not a must, willingness to work and learn IT tolls is required
