Working student (d/f/m) - Business Management Supply Chain and Logistics Hamburg

You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of the Performance Manager Team?  Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Business Management team for Airbus Supply and logistics as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.17 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

As a working student (d/f/m) you support the department Business Management Team for Industrial Supply Chain in Hamburg. 

The team is in charge of:

· 
Resource management 

· 
Budget planning & controlling 

· 
Risk management 

· 
Performance management 

· 
Resilience & Business Continuity for logistics & transportation 

· 
Sustainability roadmap (CO2, waste,...)

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Finkenwerder

Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

· 
Work on lean management practices and lead the deployment in the team.

· 
Support performance managers on reports and analysis.

· 
Manage the data and sites for the team.

· 
Take smaller projects.

· 
Support identification and cross site (Airbus in Europe) best practices on sustainability and other topics.

 Desired skills and qualifications

· 
Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within local universities in engineering, business management or social sciences or similar field of study.

· 
Interested to work in an international team and regular meetings in English (Spanish / French, German a plus).

· 
English: fluent; German: good knowledge

· 
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
