Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Vision and Image Processing Engineer (f/m) to join our Vision System Means Design department (1VMDV) based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team developing both ground and onboard test means, with a focus on video-based and vision system solutions. Within 1VMDV, you will contribute to the design of measurement chains based on computer vision architectures and image processing algorithms, directly supporting strategic projects such as Zero E, Propulsion of Tomorrow, and Airbus Single Aisle and Long Range programs.

Your challenges:

· 
Analyze measurement needs with internal stakeholders (motion, deformation, detection, vibration, 3D analysis…)

· 
Design image processing algorithms meeting metrological requirements

· 
Develop and characterize vision systems and their uncertainty chains

· 
Conduct experimental testing and sensor characterizations in laboratory environments

· 
Implement infrastructures and tools to process and extract measurement data from images, in collaboration with test and IT teams

Your boarding pass:

· 
Engineering degree or PhD in signal processing, image processing, physical measurements or embedded computing

· 
Strong technical skills in computer vision and image-based measurement systems

· 
Experience with uncertainty analysis and system characterization

· 
Hands-on knowledge of testing environments and data processing tools

· 
Passion for innovation and applied R&T
