In order to support Electronics, Airbus Operations is looking for a

VIE within Electromagnetism, Electronics, Electrical Engineer for Aviation Systems (d/f/m)

You will be part , in the frame of your international voluntary program, of the aircraft systems engineering domain (1YD), and you will support the team in its digitalisation journey, knowledge management and research and technologies activities .

You will learn as well all development phases starting with the early concept phase, throughout the development and certification of our product lines, up to the in-service support of the flying fleet.

Further the role offers the chance to work in a multicultural, transnational and highly recognized specialist team within the environmental qualification and system standard parts department in the Airbus System Engineering domain.

Your mission will be to support the digitalisation journey of the team whose main tasks is influencing and trade aircraft architectures and aircraft systems to achieve optimized solutions that are resistant to electro-magnetic induced effects and abnormal environmental conditions. You will also be involved in Research & Technologies projects.

Definition VIE

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

· 
You will define and continuously improve the digitalisation strategy & Tool of the team in the frame of electromagnetism and qualifications in cooperation with specialists and cooperate with other teams.

· 
You will together be involved in R&T projects in accordance with the team R&T strategy and vision concerning electromagnetic hazard protection strategy .

· 
You will help to develop knowledge management with the specialists sto secure and transfer lessons learned from legacy to new developments and establish the foundation framework for the engineering organization by improving our Airbus Build Directives.

 Desired skills and qualifications

· 
University degree in engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, physics or similar education.

· 
Good electrical and physical understanding.

· 
Analytic capability, curiosity and interest in data analysis and machine learning.

· 
Good communication skills and ability to simplify complexity.

· 
Solution oriented way of working and anticipation mindset.

· 
Teamspirit to continuously strengthen the transnational mindset and exchange.

· 
Negotiation level in English.
