The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria. 

VIE Main Requirements:

·  European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.
·  Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any. 
·  Fluent in English.

A VIE for a Market Development Manager - North East Asia & Pacific and Support & Services ( MDM) (f/m) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters Southeast Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore . You will join the department Strategy & Marketing .

The main role of the MDM is to drive, animate and drumbeat the country strategy and business development roadmap of the North East Asia (Japan and South Korea) & Pacific countries to achieve the regional commercial and growth objectives.  He/She is part of the APAC Strategy & Marketing team and works closely with the sales team to actively contribute to specific prospecting activities and is responsible for the development of promotion initiatives.  

Concurrently, he/she is also responsible to research & understand the current Support & Services landscape, master the Airbus Helicopter (AH) Support & Services offering, identify market drivers and business opportunities to develop the market in collaboration with the Sales & Support & Services team to elaborate and implement capture plans. He/She provides support to the Sales Organization from prospecting up to negotiation closure. Therefore, the capability to interact with customers is paramount.

This will be offered on a 2 years contract basis.   

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Market Development

· 
Responsible for the yearly Country Strategy reviews and workshops for 2 sub regions (North East Asia & Pacific - NEAP) 

· 
Identifies and masters the key drivers & business opportunities of the NEAP helicopter civil, parapublic and defense & security markets 

· 
Develops the market in collaboration with the Sales team to elaborate and implement capture plans in the NEAP countries within APAC.  

· 
Contributes to the elaboration of the APAC Strategy & Marketing plan

· 
Contributes proactively to identify targets, appropriate channels to market AH Helicopters & generate leads whether on the civil, para-public or military markets. 

· 
Establishes, in collaboration with the Sale organization, dedicated capture plans to nurture a viable pipeline of new business. 

· 
Identifies and contributes to the development of new approaches and offerings targeting helicopters sales development (e.g. Trade-In, financing and leasing solutions, etc ) 

· 
Co-lead and drive Defense & Security Market Share 33% (DS33) task force with central Business Growth team (EBD) to ensure deliverables and roadmap fulfillment 

· 
Develops his/her network within Airbus Helicopters and within the markets under his/her responsibility

· 
Becomes the “Green Belt” / “referee” knowledgeable on the NEAP Helicopter market

· 
Elaborates and, whenever necessary, presents to internal and external stakeholders, marketing presentations on helicopters, markets, trends...

Support & Services 

· 
Develop understanding of APAC Support & Services (S&S) market through researches,  fleet analysis and identifies trends, markets drivers per customer segments supporting the building of Regional and countries booking targets for S&S activities fields.

· 
Contributes proactively to identify targets, appropriate channels & strategy to market AH S&S solutions across all market segments.

· 
Contributes to annual S&S Marketing Plan preparation to map out annual deliverables

· 
Develops commercial tools / enablers / campaigns in coordination within the region, AH and external partners, to promote Support & Services solutions.

This role will involve some travel for business (occasionally) in APAC and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience:

Degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field

· 
Customer oriented, business driven, entrepreneurial mindset. Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of strategic concepts

International exposure
