Description of the job
A vacancy for a Technical Records and Planning Administrator has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Brize Norton.
The successful applicant will be responsible for entering and updating technical data into the customer maintenance recording system, providing reports, as well as checking technical documents received from the maintenance organisation and ensuring these are compliant with regulations.
This is a unique opportunity to provide essential technical support as part of an exciting initiative, delivering a high quality product to a high profile customer.
The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
· Administrative duties within the Technical Records office including updating spreadsheets and Aircraft Log Books to comply with regulations.
· Administrative support to other departments within the CAMO.
· Data entry of aircraft information.
· Register and store data from maintenance records in suitable computer database, and ensure that the original manufacturer or customers maintenance records are updated as necessary, and securely filed.
· Manage all aircraft documentation including archiving and updating inventories.
· Manage distribution lists.
· Collect and report any relevant support issues and ensure that all queries are properly answered within and through the CAMO support structure.
· Maintain a professional and personal ownership of working standards, personal presentation and of the work place for the team.
· Support Airbus Military disciplines when needed in technical investigations and provide requested data and analysis to Airbus Military.
· Familiarise yourself with and adhere to Customer's and MAA regulations and restrictions.
· Maintain communication with all Part 145 contracted Maintenance organizations and sub-contracting organizations as required.
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· Aviation background and familiar with technical terms.
· Practical experience in a similar role.
· Experience using data management systems or a similar data entry system.
· Experience within a Technical Records department would be desirable.
· Knowledge and/or practical experience implementing EASA regulatory procedures would be desirable.
· Attention to detail and accuracy when entering data is essential.
· Ability to manage day-to-day communications effectively and efficiently.
· Competent using Microsoft Office.
